About the Author

Hey there. My name is Sarai Legend. I am a fiction writer with a kinky side. You see, I have always wanted to write fiction and fantasy novels since I was in high school, but I never had the money or the time to devote to a large project. Hardcopy publishers need thousands of dollars before the book even makes it to the shelves. If it doesn't sell well, you could be out a lot of money.

At first, I started writing fantasy novels, but I could never really focus for long periods of time. I would envision the plot of the book in my head, and then get bored while writing it because it had already happened as far as my head was concerned. Large writing projects ended with a lot of frustration and devastation.

After that, I decided to start smaller and work my way up. I started with some flash fiction writing contests on writing.com, and even tried my hand at horror though I quickly discovered I didn't have a knack for it.

Then I decides to try my hand at erotica. I knew I enjoyed reading it, but there just wasn't enough good ones out there in the genres I wanted. When I first started writing erotica, I would start the story, get to the good part, and just stop. I needed to focus on the actual storyline and the characters. I did some ghost writing for a little bit, but it wasn't fulfilling. I mean, what is when you're getting paid next to nothing while the person using your material is making it all?

Needless to say, I started writing things that I wanted to read again and created a Smashwords account so I could publish them, but I backed out of it. Still to this day I'm not sure why. It might have been partially because I was afraid I wasn't good enough for it, or it may have just seemed like a waste of time. Either way, it didn't happen for several months while I waited on myself to attempt to create a cover for the book. It needed a cover to get on the premium catalog so more people would see my work.

In August 2013, I decided to create a simpler cover so I could go ahead and publish. I had just been procrastinating on so many things, I decided that this first short story was one I could finish. My published story was the erotic short story Simona's Delight, the first in a hopeful monthly series.

Outside of writing, I am currently a stay-at-home mom just struggling to try and help make ends meet. I'm hopeful that this is the start of something big for me and my family.
